EXTREME 97 GIRLS BRING HOME OKLAHOMA PRESIDENTS CUP

The EFC 97 Girls blue team took on a very skilled and determined TSC 97 Black team in the 2010 Mazzio’s Oklahoma Presidents Cup and came away with a 1-0 win.  This was a very heated game with many chances on goal for both teams.  These two teams have ended with ties in their last two meetings so the win was especially gratifying for the girls.  The girls were undefeated in pool play scoring a total of 9 goals while giving up 2 against OFC 97 White, Fury 97 Black and Thunder 97 Fiji.  They end their u13 fall and spring seasons with 2 tournament championships in addition to their “A” league play record of 11 wins, 2 losses, 3 ties with 52 goals for and 8 against.  The coaches are “extremely” proud of the girls and their accomplishments this year and are looking forward to next year with this great group of girls.

EXTREME 98 GIRLS RUNNER UP IN OPL

Extreme 98 finished as Runner Up in regular league play in the U12 Girls Oklahoma Premier League with a record of 6 wins, 1 loss, 15 goals for and only 3 goals against. The lone loss coming from a 1-0 dropped match to OPL league champion Attack 98. They round out the 2009-10 season with 4 tournament championships, 1 tournament runner up title and 1 OPL runner up title. Congrats to our 98s and coach, Dave Yates and continued best wishes as they prepare for Oklahoma State Cup preliminaries on May 22. EFC goes into the State competition ranked #2 in the State and #13 in the Region.

96s SWEEP RED EARTH
The 96 boys made it through pool play this weekend unscathed by defeating Andromeda 96, Edmond 96 Black, and Bartlesville 96. They met Edmond 97 boys in the final. They are the 97 State champs and have had very few defeats during their existence. The 97 boys put up the first score on a corner kick.  In the second half of the match, Gage Meisinger put in two goals to take the lead.  The score remained 2-1 for the win and championship. The Extreme 96 boys are currently in 5th place in OPL with 2 remaining games. They will end their season at the Oklahoma State Cup.
