The Northeast Oklahoma eXtreme
Futball Club is pleased to announce the formation of the eXtreme Futball
Academy. The Academy is open to all U8, U9 & U10 players in the Tulsa area and its surrounding communities. It's purpose is to provide advanced skill training
to young area soccer players from competitive level coaches and trainers in a fun, but focused
environment.
At EFA, players may become part of the Academy and still remain rostered on recreational teams in their own home clubs. Although we provide a higher level of training than one may normally find in a recreational club, we still feel that the hometown soccer experience is very important for young soccer players and their communities. By providing a higher level of training we can provide a service to those young players that want to prepare for competitive soccer or who just want more advanced training. We believe that by providing this service we will be able to keep more local area elite players or those seeking advanced training playing in their local soccer clubs.
At the eXtreme Academy, our job is to give the young pre-competitive player the tools and knowledge to make an informed decision when considering trying out for a competitive level team.
We want players to love the game when they are 7 years old and still love it when they are 17. So please consider joining us as we work together to promote the game of soccer in Northeast Oklahoma. When Competitors become Teammates, we all win!

eXtreme ACADEMY NEWS
ACADEMY TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN METRO CHALLENGER
CUP
The 97 & 98 Girls Academy teams competed in the MTsc Challenger
Cup series
Turkey Showdown on November 26th at the Metro Tulsa Soccer Club
(MTsc).
The 97 Girls Blue team, coached by Adam Pate took 2nd
while the 97 Girls
White team, coached by Rick Laube took
3rd.
The 98 Girls posted wins against MTsc 98 Red, MTsc 98 White
and Dyanmite 99.
The girls played hard, but were just edged out of 1st place
by a tie-breaking goal in
the final minute of the game with the MTsc 98 Boys
making the final score 3 -2. The girls
outscored their opponents by a
whopping 51 goals to 6. Coaches Doug Mitchell (EFC
94 Boys) and Sherrie
Pankake were thrilled with the girl's 2nd place finish in their
first
tournament appearance together and look forward to forming more 98
tournament
teams to participate in upcoming Spring & Summer
events.
EFC 96 ACADEMY BOYS
The 96 boys have had a busy
Spring 2005 and Fall 2005. In addition to participating in
the 2005 Spring
and Fall seasons of the Oklahoma Development League, the 96s were
Champions
of the Spring Metro Challenger Cup and took 2nd in the Capital City Cup
in
Little Rock, Arkansas. EFC 96 is coached by Justin Phillip, eXtreme
Futball Academy
Head Trainer and Coach of EFC 93 Blue.
98 ACADEMY FRIENDLIES WITH WSA
The 98 Girls and
Boys eXtreme Futball Academy teams hosted their first friendly
scrimmages
with the Westside Alliance Lil Alliance teams on Sunday, October 30th.
Both
teams played eXtremely well in the 6 v 6 format.
The 98 Girls won their match
against the WSA 98 Girls, but lost their match to the
WSA 97/98 boys. The 98
Boys also won their match against the WSA 98 Girls, but
lost a very hard
fought game to the WSA 97/98 Boys 2 to 1.
All in all, it was a great day with
beautiful weather and lots of fun soccer competition!

U8 PLAYERS
FOR YOUNGER PLAYERS, the Academy offers the eXtreme
Basic Training
Program. This program is designed for U8 players seeking
to develop and reinforce
their foundation of basic soccer skills. This
program provides (1) weekly training
session with additional scrimmages
throughout the season.
U8 Girls ('98s) sessions
are conducted by Doug Mitchell, EFC '94 Boys Coach
and eXtreme Futball
Academy Director.
U8 Boys ('98s) sessions are conducted by Chris
Brunner, EFC '95 Boys Coach
and Owasso Soccer Club Head Coach.
Training Schedule:
Spring Session - February through May
Fall Session - August through November

Cost: Registration $20 per season. Includes 1
training session per week and

U9 & U10 PLAYERS
FOR OLDER PLAYERS CONSIDERING COMPETITIVE SOCCER, the
Academy
offers players the opportunity to continue developing their skills
through weekly training
sessions, as well as Friendly Scrimmages with other
area Academy programs. It also
offers players the the opportunity to be
considered for an Oklahoma Development
League select team.
U9
PLAYERS
U9 Girls ('97s) sessions will be conducted by Rick Laube,
EFC '94 Girls Blue Coach.
U9 Boys ('97s) sessions will be conducted by
Justin Phillip, EFC '93 Boys Blue Coach
and eXtreme Futball Academy
Boys Lead Trainer.
